Volunteering

Volunteering If you feel you have the time for a few hours each week on a wednesday evening and possibly an occassional sunday, and are willing to come along and help with the group, please feel free to contact us. 
We are looking for people to assist with:
Set Design.
Props. 
Group Assistants. * 
Group Leaders. * 
Costume Making. # 
Dressing room Assistance. # 
Stage Crew. # 
Photographer. #
Bar Staff. # 
Brewing up helpers. # 

We however do require as much assistance as possible the weekend we move into the theatre as well as the Taking Down of the sets on the Saturday night after the Show as well as the Sunday morning after the show to load everything into the van at the theatre as well as unloading it all back at the Unit.

*  (Both the Leaders and Assistant positions will include Acting, Singing and Choreography).

Each member of staff may be required to have a DBS. The Criminal Records Bureau ( CRB ) and the Independent Safeguarding Authority ( ISA ) have merged to become the Disclosure and Barring Service ( DBS ). CRB checks are now called DBS checks. A DBS check may be needed for some parts of the voluntary work, e.g. working alone with the children.

If we feel that you require a DBS we as a group are more than willing to assist you in obtaining the DBS at no cost to yourself or if you have a DBS already we may be able to get you certified, as we will be able to use the registration details you can provide.
